Mission Philippines
THANK YOU to our prayer partners and financial friends, as you sent us to Naic, Philippines this spring.
Many lives were impacted as we shared the gospel of Jesus. You can find one story of transformation under our WORDS OF HOPE page, on the June 20th post.
Because of your support, we were able to minister in two churches, and connect with a group of pastors who are uniting to be a vessel of Jesus’ love in the Provence of Cavite. We’re planning to make this spring trip every year, so be sure to keep this strategic nation in your missions prayers with us!

A New York Minute
DAVID HILL - May 2024
I HAD BEEN PRAYING each morning at a park in Tribeca. One day I noticed a man sitting on the bench opposite from me. He was typing feverishly on his laptop. We struck up a conversation and Steven told me that he was job-seeking. He had sent his resume to every architectural firm in New York. Steven had been very successful in his field, until the economic downturn after COVID.
It seemed that Steven was searching for more than a job. After several meetings in the park, I found out that he was staying at the Bowery Mission in Tribeca. I felt that his search for a new career was reflective of another search in his heart.
"God wants to help you," I found the faith and courage to say to him one day. Typical of most New Yorkers that I have shared the gospel with, I found Steven's reaction to be one of openness, rather than hostility.
After sharing that Christ was not looking for him to clean up his life, but that He could come to Him with all of his doubt, fear, and sin, Steven seemed deeply touched. Time and circumstance did not permit us to pray together that day, but I know the Holy Spirit can finish what He started. Steven's last words to me will never leave me. They echo in my heart, as I pray for him: "God has been speaking to me a lot lately. I know it is time that I began to listen."
In the city that never sleeps, sometimes the greatest impact for Christ can be the words that are left hanging at the end of a conversation. Please pray for Steven and the many New Yorkers who, like him, are searching for hope.
